How to Protect Your Second Wife from the First
Hello, my name is Shoosh and I’m just a person who fell in love with the perfect man, married him, and found myself in a culture I knew nothing about. A culture I had no experience, education, or concept of! I found myself standing alone in an abyss of broken hearts, broken dreams, crying children, and angry and confused families…it’s the ultimate miracle of life, that love was able to grow through those jagged cracks!
But is love enough?
From the beginning, my intentions were honorable and good, rather altruistic now that I can look back at it. I blundered through numerous successes and seemingly even more, “un” successes! After 7 ½ years of working hard, crying, laughing, counseling, recovery, and any other resource we could find, I threw in the towel and left my blended family…love was NOT enough!
The purpose of this blog is to invite you to participate in a conversation sharing your own best/worst “practices” in your own blended family/ies.
